A bright community lounge with residents gathered

Companionship in Turtle Creek and Uptown.

One-to-one attention for residents of Dallas high-rise and independent-living communities.

Where we fit here

A building full of people is not the same as company.

Turtle Creek and Uptown have some of the best independent-living communities in Dallas, with real programming and genuinely good teams. And it is still entirely possible to live in one and spend most of the week alone.

We work alongside those communities, never around them. One-to-one visits built on a single resident's own interests, coordinated with the team and family, in line with the building's policies.

A Turtle Creek week

What visits here usually look like.

01

The Katy Trail

Short walks with a defined turnaround work well. We plan the distance in advance and go during less busy times of day.

02

Turtle Creek Park

Close, calm and level. Good for a slow morning walk that does not require getting into a car.

03

The Arts District

Matinees, museum mornings and the symphony, with seating, parking and walking distance confirmed in advance.

04

Meals out

Lunch somewhere with a real tablecloth. Not a special occasion, just a Tuesday that was worth getting dressed for.

05

In-home visits

Conversation, games, photographs, technology help and the practical projects that never get done alone.

Turtle Creek questions

Local specifics.

Do you visit residents in high-rise and independent-living buildings?

Yes, subject to each building’s own policies. We check in with the front desk or resident services team rather than working around them, and we are happy to be added to an approved visitor list.

My parent is in a community with a full activity calendar. Why add this?

A group calendar and one-to-one attention solve different problems. Community programming is excellent and it is designed for a room. We are designed for one person’s interests, at their pace.

Is the Katy Trail realistic for an older adult?

Parts of it, yes. It is flat and shaded in stretches, with clear entry points, so a short out-and-back with a defined turnaround works well. We plan the distance in advance rather than improvising.

Can visits include the Arts District?

Frequently. Matinees, museum mornings and the symphony are among the more popular outings, with seating, parking and walking distance confirmed beforehand.

What other areas do you serve?

Alongside this neighborhood we serve Dallas with a focus on the park cities, Plano, Coppell and surrounding areas. That includes Highland Park (75205), University Park (75225), Preston Hollow (75229), Turtle Creek and Uptown (75219), West Plano (75093), North Dallas (75248) and Coppell (75019).
