I began My Modern Companion because I believe aging should be filled with dignity, joy, and patience from a considerate person.

Too often, I see families stretched thin, trying to balance their own lives and children, while worrying whether their loved ones are being cared for and engaged.
That is where My Modern Companion began, not as a service but as a solution. We are a thoughtful experience designed to enrich the lives of older adults, while bringing peace of mind to the people who love them most.
Whether it is a garden stroll, help with technology, errands and help around the house, or simply meaningful conversation, I bring warmth, creativity and trust to every visit, serving as both a steady companion and an extension of your love and care.

My Modern Companion, serving Dallas, Texas, is something in between: a lifestyle support service for aging adults who deserve more than basic care. They deserve meaningful conversation, engagement, fun, brain-stimulating activities, respect, and a companion who makes them feel seen, not managed.
We are a non-medical lifestyle support service specializing in companionship, enrichment and everyday lifestyle assistance for older adults. Unlike traditional caregiving services, we focus on enhancing quality of life through personalized support, engagement and meaningful connection.
What we believe
Presence is a skill, not a chair in the corner.
There is a version of companionship where someone shows up, sits down and spends the afternoon on their phone. That is not this. Every visit is planned, purposeful and built around a real person’s interests, and it is measured by whether the day was actually better.

My Modern Companion is built to grow carefully. As we add companions, every one of them will be selected and trained against the same standard: genuine interest in people, real presence, and the discipline to plan a visit rather than simply fill it.
Growth will never be allowed to turn this into a staffing agency. The relationship is the product.
Non-medical, on purpose
We are a lifestyle support and companionship service. We are not home health, nursing, therapy or emergency care, and we work alongside those providers rather than in place of them.
